The Saratoga Automobile Museum has been open to the public since 2002. Its mission is to preserve, interpret, and exhibit automobiles-alongside important artifacts belonging to the industry. The museum celebrates the role of automobiles in New York State and their importance in wider aspects of the world by enlightening the general public, students and enthusiasts alike. The educational focus covers the past, present, and future social and economic impact of the automobile. The museum features on-going exhibits, rotating exhibits, racing in New York, and the New York State Stock Car Hall of Fame.
