Mouzon House • Saratoga Springs, NY

Mouzon House was purchased in 1911 for $2,500 in cash, by a full-blooded Cherokee woman married to an African – American Creole. Her purchase – 9 years before women could even vote in the United States – was unheard of.

Today, the restaurant strives to bring together the freshest ingredients from local farms while using practices that are good for the people and the earth around us. Mouzon House puts its own twist on New Orleans cuisine and prides itself on hospitality that provides excellent service, and knowledgeable, friendly, staff. Try the crawfish beignets, sweet pea lemon risotto, or the Mouzon Buddha Bowl.
