OLD TOWN TROLLEY TOURS • Boston • Key West • Nashville • San Diego • Savannah • St. Augustine • Washington DC

You are invited to visit all of the great American cities of Boston, Key West, Nashville, San Diego, Savannah, St. Augustine, and Washington, DC.

Historic Tours of America was formed in the early 1970s based on a shared passion for historic buildings. The original partnership was formed to accomplish the renovation and restoration of buildings in the Key West, Florida. To transport retail customers to the restoration area along the city’s main street, the partners bought a company called Old Town Trolley Tours. The trolley consisted of two cut down bread trucks pulling a boat trailer with a metal awning roof and plywood floor. The floor had garden bench seats. Thus – the start of their transportainment (transportation and entertainment)!

Today, The Nation’s Storyteller entertains over two million guests annually at our tours, attractions and historic ships. Millions more visit Historic Tours of America festival marketplaces and themed retail gift stores. Over the years Historic Tours of America has grown slowly and steadily. Each tour is 100% guaranteed.

Once on board the Orange and Green Trolley, you’ll learn historical facts, trivia and amusing tales from hometown conductors and you can “hop on and off” at your convenience. All tours are 100% live with highly-knowledgeable guides (no prerecorded narrations). All tours include a map detailing all the stops ( a nice moment). Millions of travelers each year climb on board Old Town Trolley.

I have personally have taken Old Town Trolley Tours of Key West, Savannah and Nashville and I highly recommend them for the best sightseeing tour in town.

In Key West, the world-famous Conch Tour Train offers a close-up view of the Southernmost City’s most popular places including Mallory Square, The Harry S. Truman Little White House, Sails to Rails Museum, the Key West Aquarium and more. While on the tour, your engineer offers an interesting and amusing narrative filled with historical facts, trivia and humor, and recounts fascinating stories of the colorful people that make Key West so unique.

In Savannah, it is all about Southern Hospitality with dedicated spots like the birthplace of Girl Scouts Founder Juliette Gordon Low, the city’s array of quaint squares and the famous Sorrel-Weed House. Don’t forget to hop off at the American Prohibition Museum – it’s filled with memorabilia and pictures of a wild era of flappers, bootlegging, and gangsters. And you can step right up to the bar in their speak-easy to order an authentic craft cocktail.

In Nashville, the tour takes you all over Music City. It pays tribute to its legends and pioneers. Consider Old Town Trolley’s multi-day pass to cover all they stops: Country Music Hall of Fame, Johnny Cash Museum, Music City Walk of Fame, Broadway’s Music Row (including Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge) The Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Ole Opry, The Parthenon, and more. Do not miss the opportunity to see a show at the Grand Ole Opry.

* Although I did not personally participate in the Ghosts & Gravestones Tours or Ghost Town Trolley Tours, the accolades are amazing. Your costumed tour guides will entertain (or perhaps scare) you with tales beyond your imagination for a fun-filled evening.

Editor’s note: Visit Historic Tours of America’s expansive website. The sit is teeming with tours, attractions, festival marketplaces & shopping, school & specialty trips, welcome center locations and restaurants. Look for the orange and green trolleys. This award-winning company is proudly owned and operated in the United States. Next on my list of destinations is St. Augustine, so stay tuned…
