Key West has an interesting history. It became a popular escape by numerous famous people as far back as the early to mid-1800’s. Ernest Hemingway made Key West his home in 1931 and the original Ernest Hemingway House still stands in his honor. The museum, built in 1851, and its lush tropical gardens are definitely worth touring. Great for the entire family!
