He has spent decades working in the wine and spirits industry – 35 yrs at Southern Wine & Spirits of America where he was instrumental in building it into the largest alcohol and beverage distribution company. Today, he parlays that expansive knowledge as a consultant for new start up brands and concepts. Over the years, Richard owned multiple casual restaurants. Over the years, she wrote a monthly style column, “The Personal Shopper,” for W magazine, tourism guides about Florida locales, and articles for 30+ glossy magazines (New York Observer, Trillionaire, Women’s Wear Daily, etc). She was Editor-in-Chief of Where Magazine and Where Guestbooks for 10 years. Irene is the President /Co-founder of Les Dames d’Escoffier International’s S. Florida chapter. She has lived in 5 different countries and through her writing, has evolved as an expert in culinary tourism and oenotourism. Charles Radlauer • Senior Editor Wine & Spirits Charles was a renown Plastic Surgeon in Miami for 25 years. After retiring, he earned a St. Thomas University law degree and taught at several universities. He’s an avid gastronome and wine connoisseur; an ardent wine collector (45 years); a wine and spirits educator; and has organized and judged National Young Sommelier Competitions for La Chaine des Rotisseurs, the prestigious International Food and Wine Society. As former Wine and Spirits Editor for Entertainment News and Views, his column ‘Splendor in the Glass’ earned a dedicated audience. His articles have appeared in Gastronome magazine and many South Florida magazines.
Joseph Nachio, Florida • Contributing Writer Joseph is a Panamanian American from South Florida. He is an MBA double graduate from the University of Notre Dame; with a specialization in finance, leadership, and management concentrations. Joseph has engaged in entrepreneurial and consulting endeavors within the culinary and hospitality industry for over a decade. His profession allows him to explore regional cultures and cuisine around the world. Although his appetite for food, wine, and travel started as a hobby years ago, it never abated. He hosts a nationally syndicated Beatles radio program “Beatle Brunch”. Nearly all his voice work is recorded in his home’s full-production studio. Dario Monte, Florida • Video Journalist Dario’s love of the outdoors, motorcycling, fishing, and boating led him to exploring the United States and Canada over the years. Aboard his luxury motor coach, his “on the road” experiences have given him the opportunity to meet folks from every walk of life and share his passion about the responsible use of our natural resources.
