Discover Urban Wren Winery – a restaurant, market, bar, and event space – a center for unpretentious wine and food education and actual winemaking – in the historic Markley Train Station, in Greenville burgeoning West End neighborhood.
Founded in the spirit of celebrating food and wine’s natural kinship, Urban Wren will feature seasonally inspired dishes perfectly paired with select and small-batch wines. The restaurant’s strong commitment to education presents a simplified approach to wine and spirits. In the near future, Urban Wren will begin producing wines on premise.
Guests are led through an elevated yet unpretentious wine and food pairing experience. The restaurant offers an à la carte menu of small plates, tapas, and shareable dishes from Executive Chef Taylor Montgomery, as well as a reservation-only, 6-course prix fixe Chef’s Table experience. Feature dishes such as Smashed Edamame; Quick Cured Tuna; Rye Whiskey Beef Short Rib; and River Salmon.The beverage program, in addition to by-the-glass and bottles of wine, includes 
rotating cocktails and select beers.
The industrial yet warm space of this renovated train station, features an array of unique venues, including the spacious West End Bar, a Fireside Lounge, the State Bird Dining Room, the Communal Chef’s Table, and a Barrel and Wine Tasting Room where Urban Wren will ferment and produce its own wine. Urban Wren’s retail shop, Markley Market, will provide homemade takeaway options and a variety of gourmet bites and wines.
Upstairs, the Urban Wren Loft is available for celebrations and can accommodate up to 160 seated guests. Additionally, Urban Wren provides outdoor, rail-side seating and live music in the courtyard.
