Hellings House Museum • Key West

Hellings House was built in 1892 by Florida’s first millionaire, Captain Martin Hellings and his wife Eleanor.  Although the House has withstood a number of tragic events over the years, it has been persevered.

Today it is owned by the Key West Women’s Club and maintained as a museum and tribute to the strength and perseverance of the family.  Visitors can tour the famous house and take a step back in time to learn why this edifice is so special to those who call Key West home.
