The Connaught Hotel • Mayfair, London

The Connaught in Mayfair recently had all of its rooms and suite refurbished by renowned designers Guy Oliver and the late David Collins. David Collins’s breathtaking Apartment Suite atop the Connaught is one of the finest penthouse suites in London. Hand-carved doors open into a suite suffused with natural light and decorated with original artworks. Two private terraces offer a bird’s-eye view over Carlos Place. The cool Connaught Bar has platinum silver leaf walls and artworks that evoke Cubist art of the 1920s, and features timeless cocktails as well as new, twisty cocktails. For a quiet, intimate atmosphere, the Coburg Bar is a great Mayfair spot to linger over cocktails.

World-renowned chef, Jean-George Vongerichten brings his signature cuisine to Jean-Georges at the Connaught. The dining room features stained glass accents. Using  market-fresh ingredients, Vongerichten brings British and Connaught classics together with his Southeast Asian flavors. The restaurant serves afternoon tea with a twist: classic British homemade finger sandwiches, but with bold Southeast Asian flavors.

2-Michelin starred Hélène Darroze at the Connaught, featuring French culinary craft, is one of London’s fine dining restaurants. (Closed for refurbishment until September 2019, to celebrate its 10-year anniversary.)

The Connaught features the first Aman Spa to be built outside of the Aman resorts, and offers holistic massages and treatments, guided by experienced Aman therapists.
