Every 4th of July since 2007, Nashville celebrates its independence by featuring one of its more well-known unique dishes which has become synonymous with the Music City – Hot Chicken.
Held in East Park on Woodland Street, the Hot Chicken Festival brings in crowds of up to 15,000 fans hoping to partake in cooking competitions or to simply enjoy a fun day of activities out with the family. Arrive early to partake in free hot chicken samples and to try food from local vendors before making your way to catch live music from local bands. Make sure to settle in once you have a comfortable view to best experience the festival’s patriotic closing fireworks presentation!
