Dining Alfresco is part of the Serafina experience especially on a beautiful day in New York city. When strolling by any one of their restaurants, your olfactory is immediately aroused by the amazing aromas emitting from the fresh pasta, pizza and other delicious entrees being served that were prepared in the large open wood burning oven…a main fixture in every Sarafina restaurant.
With 11 locations in New York it’s almost impossible to miss eating at any one of Serafina’s popular Italian trattorias. My favorite is the Broadway location on 55th Street as it is conveniently located near the theater district, Central Park, the MOMA and much more.
The professional wait staff is on top of their game to make sure everyone who visits has a great meal and a good time.
Carpaccio Malatesta – thin sliced Filet mignon served with julienne vegetables, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and topped with an aromatic truffle mustard sauce.
Linguine frutti di mare – fresh clams, shrimp, mussels and calamari-prepared over a bed of linguine with a light tomato sauce.
Mediterranean branzino al cherry tomatoes is a must – it is pan seared, sautéed with white wine, fresh herbs and lemon, and served with roasted potatoes and asparagus.
Owners Vittorio Assaf and Fabio Granato guarantee comfort, excitement and fabulous food at every one of their worldwide locations. Whether you visit for lunch, dinner or Happy Hour, there’s always a crowd of happy smiling people of all ages eating, drinking, laughing and enjoying. Serafina is infectious… once you eat there you’re hooked!
