Briquette • New Orleans

A visit to Briquette will make you feel right at home! The restaurant, located in the Warehouse District, is housed in former Rodd Brothers Molasses Refinery, which dates from the 1800s.

The space is casual yet inviting – the 15+ seat, fully-stocked bar is perfect for sipping one of their creatively-crafted cocktails; the open kitchen showcases the chefs at work; and the awesome 18 foot, iced seafood display is filled with fresh sea bass, halibut, steelhead salmon, Louisiana redfish, and many other favorites. It is said that the fish is so fresh, that until recently, it was merely sea life!

The menu, by Chef Guy Sockrider, leans toward contemporary and coastal dishes like the Oyster and Artichoke Pandowdy CasseroleSnapper Pontchartrain, Louisiana Redfish, Whole Branzino, and Roast Duckling Girod.  Their fresh fish is prepared over red-hot briquettes drizzled with flavored oil. Check out their evolving food, wine and spirits events.

Briquette is available for private gatherings with menus to suit your needs and has valet parking. Let owners AJ and Anna Tusa welcome you to one of Nola’s hidden gems.
