Aqua Pazza • Boston

Located on the Freedom Trail in Boston’s North End, with restaurateur Frank De Pasquale at the helm, Aqua Pazza offers more than 30 flavorful small plates inspired by Italy, Greece, Turkey, and other Mediterranean-inspired cuisines.

The romantic dining room boasts gold curtains draped from floor-to-ceiling windows, more wine bottles and crates than you can count, and prime people-watching opportunities.

Their zucchini flower chips – made with goat cheese, lemon, and truffle honey, only make diners want to move forward through the restaurant’s extensive menu. Try the Tuna Crudo, with butternut squash puree, truffle and pumpkin seeds, the whole pig Bolognese – with pappardelle, green onion, and pecorino, or Aqua Pazza’s fresh salmon, with baby bok-choy, celery root and smoked apple.
