At 70 stories, this Five-Star hotel is one of the city’s tallest buildings. Located in the heart of Downtown Miami’s dynamic Brickell area (Miami’s financial center), it offers everything you’d expect from a Four Seasons Hotel, but with a more tropical vibe. The art-laden hotel’s arrivals area features two gigantic nude sculptures, Adam and Eve, sculpted from bonze by Colombian-born artist Fernando Botero. Forty Miami and Latin American artists created paintings, sculptures, prints and photographs that decorate the marble-lined public areas and the interiors of the guest rooms and suite.
Best bet: the two-acre Palm Grove Pool area: a pool deck with hammocks and a wading pool surrounded by 28 palm trees on the hotel’s seventh floor, allowing guests a spectacular view of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami.
Dining options include EDGE Steak and Bar farm-to-table steakhouse, for the best modern cuts of steak and freshest seafood. Accommodations range from premier bay view rooms to fully furnished private residences outfitted with everything you could possibly need. At the Spa at Equinox, guests may enjoy a stress-relieving massage and restorative facial, or a customized specialty treatment followed by a redwood sauna, Turkish steam room or Vichy shower. The RikRak Salon takes care of guests’ makeup and hair styling needs.
