The Venetian Pool

The Venetian Pool is a historic aquatic facility was created in 1923 from a coral rock quarry.  The original coral rock was used to border the pool, creating the effect of cave-like grottoes. The 820,000-gallon pool is fed with spring water from an underground aquifer. Waterfalls provide a scenic backdrop, as do loggias, porticos, palm trees, a signature bridge, and two historic lookout towers.
