Michelin Star rated Minetta Tavern is anything but your typical watering hole despite the implication of the name. Although having built a reputation for itself as a steakhouse since opening in 1937, the restaurant offers much more with a side of French flair.
The fantastic menu includes a number of seafood dishes and creative Hors D’oeuvres along with the prime cuts of beef and chops and decadent desserts. Moules Frites, Bouchot mussels with white wine; Long Island Duck Breast with Bing cherries, chanterelles, Marcona almonds; dry-aged Black Label Burger; Roasted Bone Marrow and shallot confit. The wine list features global selections chosen to pair well with the menu. The successful, and recently remodeled, Minetta Tavern continues to be a hot spot for celebrities as well.
