The building where Ziggie and Mad Dog’s Restaurant sits dates back to the 1930’s and its become considerably famous throughout the Florida Keys. The original Ziggie’s Conch opened in 1962 and some of the original dishes are still served today under the ownership of former Dolphin’s player Jim Mandich. In addition to seafood, including Shrimp Islamorada (sautéed jumbo shrimp with a champagne beurre blanc), the menu also features prime cuts of beef. Top the delicious meal with a glass of wine and a decadent dessert and you can’t ask for much more.
