Originally built in 1872, the three-story building was turned from a pharmacy into the Merchants Hotel and became an affordable popular stop for many traveling salesmen. Today, the building serves as a three-story restaurant and is one of the few 19thcentury structures that offers modern and traditional American dishes such as strawberry salads and duck fat tater tots along with pan roasted swordfish and dry aged porterhouse steak.
Able to accommodate multiple private events with customizable menus, Merchants is a phenomenal historic stop worth the trip to Broadway as you take in the rich heritage in its architecture and décor.
