Lunch at Woolworth’s five and dime was first introduced in 1925; the many changes in culture throughout the ensuing decades earned the building its registration as an historic site in the Fifth Avenue Historic District.
Today’s menu pays tribute to its southern culinary roots with dishes such as short rib pot roast, shrimp & grits, and fried green tomatoes with goat cheese.
