Zoo Miami is the largest and oldest zoological garden in Florida. Unlike any other zoo in the country, it features a wide variety of animals from Asia, Australia, and Africa. Because of Miami’s sub-tropical climate, the open-air exhibits replicate the animals’ natural habitats, and visitors can see the wildlife at close range. It occupies 750 acres, is home to more than 3,000 animals, and 1,000 species of trees, palms and other plants, and over 100 special exhibits showcasing scientific topics. It is a world leader in wildlife and global conservation initiatives. Perfect for all ages!
