This internationally acclaimed Japanese restaurant is located in the Epic Hotel in Downtown Miami, its first US location. The menu is based on Chef Rainer Becker’s style of modern Japanese izakaya dining, with all dishes designed to be shared. Simple presentations with bold flavors are the focus, with offerings of  Robata Skewers, Nigiri, Sushimi, Sashimi and Maki Rolls and Tempura, and signature dishes such as Robata Gyuhire Sumibiyaki Karami Zuke, Spicy Beef Tenderloin with sesame, red chili and sweet soy.

Best bet:  Gin-dara No Saikyo Yaki, Black Cod marinated in saikyo miso (mild and sweet), and wrapped in hoba leaf.
