Charleston’s art hotel, The Vendue, opened its newest restaurant, Revival, providing modern Southern cuisine. With Executive Chef Forrest Parker at the helm, the menu focuses on recipes and ingredients highlighting South Carolina’s past, including Jimmy Red grits and the Bradford Watermelon. Chef Parker has worked with local farmers to “revive” certain ingredients and utilize them in his dishes. The concept is modern and relaxed.
