One World Trade Center • One World Observatory • 9-1-1 Memorial

There is something quite bittersweet about visiting One World Trade Center. This 104-story building is the Western hemisphere’s tallest skyscraper. Its distinctive eight-sided tower is composed of soaring isosceles triangles topped by a 408-foot spire. Constructed on the site of the original 6 World Trade Center, the structure formerly known as the “Freedom Tower” includes restaurants and One World Observatory for the public, as well as acres of commercial office space.

Step aboard a SkyPod Elevator and climb 102 stories in 47 seconds, watching a virtual time-lapse of how the city has changed from unsettled land of the 1500s into today’s remarkable forest of skyscrapers!  Explore the 3 levels of One World Observatory including the See Forever Theater as your senses become immersed in the iconic crossroads of the world. At the building’s foot is the National September 11 Memorial and Museum which pays solemn homage to the horrendous tragedy of that day, a site that can both bring you to tears and serve as an inspiration.
