There is something quite bittersweet about visiting One World Trade Center. This 104-story building is the Western hemisphere’s tallest skyscraper. Its distinctive eight-sided tower is composed of soaring isosceles triangles topped by a 408-foot spire. Constructed on the site of the original 6 World Trade Center, the structure formerly known as the “Freedom Tower” includes restaurants and One World Observatory for the public, as well as acres of commercial office space.
