Fisher Island Club

Arriving at The Fisher Island Club by boat always makes for a grand entrance. The palm-tree adorned hotel comes into view as the ferry from Miami Beach lands on the small tropical island.

Cottages with red-tile roofs give the resort a village-like appearance. The ultra-luxury resort is one of Florida’s most exclusive clubs and residences.

It was built around the original 1920s-era mansion that was once the winter estate of William K. Vanderbilt. Accommodations range from historic 1920s-era cottages offering Old World style, to Mediterranean-Style Courtyard Villas with an in-ground Jacuzzi, to Guest House Suites.

Dining is offered in six different restaurants, including the casual Beach Club and the oak-paneled Garwood Lounge, a steakhouse in the historic Vanderbilt Mansion. The  Fisher Island Club offers seaside golf, tennis, a luxury Mediterranean-style spa, a beach club, and deep-water marinas.
