GW Fins has often been deemed the best seafood restaurant in New Orleans and it has been delighting the palates of locals for the last 15 years. The restaurant prides itself on selecting the freshest seafood from around the world and Chef Tenney Flynn doesn’t even get the day’s catch in until 4:00 each afternoon. Chef Tenney Flynn is recognized as one of the country’s foremost seafood authorities and was coined “the fishmonger czar of the South” by The Wall Street Journal.
Every summer, GW Fins participates in Nola’s COOLinary celebration, a culinary event produced by the New Orleans’ Convention and Visitors Bureau and New Orleans Restaurant Week. Despite the longevity of the establishment the menu at GW Fins changes on a daily basis with the menu literally being printed every day before the doors open for dinner. Locals wouldn’t want it any other way.
