Olmsted • NYC

Although the restaurant is only a little over a year old, Olmsted is paving the way for a new concept in New York city with positive results by redefining the “farm to table” concept. The restaurant Chef/Owner Greg Baxtrom prepares vegetable-based dishes, cultivating many of the ingredients right from the back yard of his establishment.  Patrons can choose to be seated in the large dining room overlooking the restaurant garden or select a table in the garden. Either way, the food is an experience to be enjoyed.

The small but diverse menu includes dishes like Sweet Potato and Uni Pierogies, Carrot Crepe, and Beef Tartare Polonaise. Herbs from the garden are even used in the creative cocktails to be enjoyed at Olmsted, a restaurant that you absolutely have to visit to appreciate.
