The Olde English Pub and Pantry • Albany, NY

The historic Quackenbush House was built in the 1730’s once home to Revolutionary War Officer Hendrick Quackenbush. He commanded a regiment which fought in the Battle of Saratoga 1777.  Today it remains one of the oldest buildings still standing in the city. It also houses the British-themed eatery, The Olde English Pub and Pantry.

Its interior reveals dark wood with a markedly pub-like atmosphere. Patrons can play board games and enjoy entertainment during the week. They serve many quality British beers, as well as traditional English pub food such as the Ploughman’s platter, fish and chips, and lamb chops.
