Occupying Nashville’s former main post office since 1998, the Frist Art Museum aims to present and organize quality exhibitions to build educational programs and community outreach. Working to further build Nashville’s visual arts scene, Frist features various hands-on experiences including the interactive Martin ArtQuest Gallery with 30 learning stations where visitors are invited to paint watercolors, creature sculptures, and utilize printmaking stations.
Frist focuses on creating a wholesome family friendly environment to learn and experience and is certainly worth spending an afternoon viewing their rotating selection of contemporary art collections and travelling installations.
