This is not your typical diner! Tucked beneath a railroad overpass in the heart of Worcester, Massachusetts, Miss Worcester Diner is far more than a breakfast spot; it is a living piece of American dining history.

Built in 1948 by the legendary Worcester Lunch Car Company, the diner originally served as Worcester Lunch Car No. 812 and functioned as a showroom model for prospective buyers. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2003, Miss Worcester remains one of the most authentic surviving examples of a classic New England lunch car diner.
The diner’s unmistakable appearance is part of its enduring charm but it’s the food that keeps guests returning. Their signature dishes are legendary; try the Crunchy French toast – thickly-cut bread coated in a crunchy, sweet cereal crust & grilled to perfection. Other options are stuffed French toast, over-sized pancakes, and Eggs Benedict with a variety of creative toppings to please every palate.
Seventy-five years after it was built, Miss Worcester Diner remains one of Massachusetts’ most iconic dining destinations where history, community, and exceptional breakfast come together under one vintage roof.
