Livernano – Tuscany, Italy

Welcome to Borgo Livernano, a charming small luxury boutique hotel resort located in the heart of Tuscany, where history, beauty, and elegance come together to offer an unforgettable travel experience. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to step back in time and relive the history of a place that dates back over 2500 years ago.

Once an ancient Etruscan village, Borgo Livernano was later occupied by the Romans and served as a fortified border post during the interminable wars of the two great medieval city-states in Tuscany, Siena and Florence. Neglected for too long, it was rediscovered in 2000 and rehabilitated with all the style and elegance of Tuscan tradition one stone at a time.

Accommodation at Borgo Livernano consists of 11 suites, tastefully furnished and fitted out with modern comforts and facilities. Each suite is designed in elegant Tuscan style with a modern touch, creating a perfect blend of tradition and contemporary style.

The resort is surrounded by forests, vineyards and olive groves, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. I loved waking up in the morning and taking a stroll throughout the complex and grounds and in the evening enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace while admiring the stunning views of the Chianti hills. For those who love history, Borgo Livernano offers a unique opportunity to relive the past and discover the hidden gems of Tuscany.

The resort’s restaurant serves delicious Tuscan cuisine, made from fresh local ingredients. From pasta to meat dishes, everything is cooked to perfection, providing a true taste of Tuscany. Everything including their wines are 100% organic. I cannot begin to describe how delicious the food, cheese, pasties, wine, breads are. The resort also offers wine tastings, where guests can sample some of the finest wines produced from their vineyards and others throughout the Chianti Classico district.

The resort is surrounded by numerous wineries located along the infamous “Dirty Road” lined with beautiful vineyards ancient green cypress trees and spectacular Italian villas. I suggest that you visit the owners Robert Cuillo and his wife Gudrun other vineyard and winery Casalvento. In 1997 the Cuillo’s bought the abandoned vineyard and completely restored it to its original glory.  Here you will have the opportunity to take a tour of the winery and learn about the wine-making process. The vineyards in this region are not only beautiful but also produce some of the best wines in Tuscany, making it a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts.

Borgo Livernano is an enchanting destination that offers a unique blend of history, beauty, and elegance. I suggest that you come and experience the magic of Tuscany and create memories that will last a lifetime. My lovely wife Linda and I can vouch for this…the most amazing memories of any trip. Bellissimo! When visiting be sure to let them know that you found them InboundDestinations.Com
