Chef Compton believes that dining is all about creating memories. Her dishes are simplistic and rely on the power of pure flavors. She blends indigenous ingredients and the rich culinary heritage of New Orleans with those of her Caribbean roots.
Her training is classic French; including collaborations in stellar venues; Daniel in New York; Palme d’Or at The Biltmore Hotel in Miami; and Casa Casuarina, a private club and boutique hotel in South Beach. And did I mention that she was a TOP CHEF finalist? Nina is currently the culinary ambassador for St. Lucia, where she was born.
