Mile End Deli is a unique combination of Montreal-style cuisine meets Jewish deli, located on the outskirts of Birmingham’s Southside neighborhood facing Railroad Park. It is modeled after delis in Montreal’s Mile End neighborhood. The restaurant’s growth is spearheaded by Pihakis Restaurant Group; restauranteur Nick Pihakis and partners Max Levine, Joel Tietolman and Adam Grusin. Elevated, long-established dishes, made with fresh ingredients using from-scratch cooking techniques are the norm. The menu, inspired by age-old tradition, features Montreal-style smoked meat, homemade HOYT-dogs, Poutine with cheese curds and fresh whitefish salad, to name a few.
