Texture • Marylebone, London

Awarded a Michelin Star in 2010 for its excellent healthy cuisine and exquisite wines, Texture Restaurant and Champagne Bar is housed in a beautifully restored Georgian building on Portman Square in the heart of Mayfair.

The menu features modern European dishes with Scandinavian influences, focusing on combining British produce with ingredients from Chef Patron and owner Agnar Sverrisson’s native Iceland. Menu items might be Isle of Skye Scallops with coconut, soup, kaffir lime leaves, and lemongrass; or Icelandic Cod with avocado, tomatoes, and chorizo.

The interior of the restaurant and champagne bar blends contemporary elegance with striking artwork by renowned Icelandic artist, Tolli. The Champagne Bar is perfect for pre-dinner aperitifs or those who enjoy its extraordinary champagne and wine list. Next to Oxford Street, Marble Arch Tube Station is a 2-minute walk away.
