Adirondack Wildlife Refuge • Upstate New York

Adirondack Wildlife Refuge and Rehab Center is a 501-C3 non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation. Sitting on 50 acres along the West Branch of Ausable Chasm, they often hold wildlife presentations in churches, schools, hotels and other organizations. The Adirondack Wildlife Center’s mission is ‘to care for sick and injured wildlife, intent on helping them make it back into the wild’. Some animals remain in the center’s care and are used for educational demonstrations. The Refuge Center includes two miles of hiking trails, a public fishing access trail, a number of large birds, and their mascots – three gray wolves and two black bears.
