The Kingstide • Charleston, S.C.

Daniel Island’s 1st and Only Waterfront Restaurant

Charleston restaurant group Indigo Road (Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku, Indaco) opens The Kingstide on Daniel Island. Boasting a pristine setting along the Wando River, the beautifully appointed two-story space features natural light, picturesque views, and plenty of patio seating. Kingstide guests can access the restaurant by water via the Daniel Island Ferry or by docking at the Daniel Island Marina. The space was designed by renowned Charleston-based Cortney Bishop Design to evoke a rustic yet refined interior with a nautical nod.

The Kingstide pays homage to the ocean with a menu from Chef Kevin Getzewich that features seafood dishes thoughtfully presented in both raw and wood-fired preparations.

On the menu are classic raw bar items; smoked fish dip, lobster rolls, campfire trout with bacon; seafood towers, fish Bologna sliders, lobster agnolotti, smoked salmon rillettes, and even a pub steak. The cocktail menu is categorized as shaken, frozen and spirit free.

Kingstide offers private space for celebrations and corporate events.
